Mariners Cove Board Meeting Minutes June 1, 2024

Call to order at 11:49AM by Ralph Tepel

Attendees: Ralph Tepel, Steve Wimbush, Moe Scharhon, Jamie Ponder, Kathleen Ashburn, Carol Hassebrock

Guests: Eric Hedges

Motion to approve May meeting minutes by Kathleen Ashburn, second by Steve Wimbush. Motion carries.

Reorganization of the board:

Motion by Kathleen Ashburn to appoint Ralph Tepel as President, second by Steve Wimbush. Motion carries.

Motion by Kathleen Ashburn to appoint Jamie Ponder as Vice President, second by Steve Wimbush. Motion carries.

Motion by Moe Scharhon to appoint Kathleen Ashburn as Treasurer, second by Steve Wimbush. Motion carries.

Motion by Ralph Tepel to appoint Kathleen Ashburn as Secretary, second by Jamie Ponder. Motion carries.

Motion by Steve Wimbush, second by Moe Scharhon to assign Jamie Ponder, Kathleen Ashburn, Carol Hassebrock, Sandi Mehl and Ralph Tepel as check signers.

Motion by Moe Scharhon to authorize Ralph Tepel, Jamie Ponder and Kathleen Ashburn to sign legal documents, second by Steve Wimbush. Motion carries.

Motion by Jamie Ponder to appoint Cathy Tepel as board representative to complete resale certificates, second by Steve Wimbush. Motion carries.

Motion by Ralph Tepel to appoint Carol Hassebrock as board member ex officio, second by Kathleen Ashburn. Motion carries.

New Business:

Motion by Kathleen Ashburn and second by Steve Wimbush to raise resale certificate fee to $200. Motion carries.

Motion by Jamie Ponder to allot $500 for BBQ committee, second by Kathleen Ashburn. Motion carries.

Motion by Jamie Ponder to proceed with parking lot crack sealing and striping in the amount of $3,700 plus tax, second by Kathleen Ashburn. Motion carries.
